Changing the game

Beau BIden

The mortgage foreclosure crisis is hurting families and communities in Delaware, and slowing our economic recovery. It is my highest priority to do everything in my power to help those in need. This includes working with other Attorneys General to hold accountable the financial institutions who did not play by the rules and helped bring our economy to the brink of collapse.
We’ve created new processes in Delaware that will help homeowners facing foreclosure and better protect them from financial predators. Not all foreclosures will be avoided, but every homeowner facing foreclosure will be able to sit down and have a face-to-face conversation with their bank.
In recognition of this work I was honored, along with New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, to be chosen by the Huffington Post as one of this year’s “Game Changers.”
Thank you for your support as we continue to do the important work of standing up for homeowners, investors, and every Delawarean who has suffered as a result of this crisis.
We must make sure we protect Delaware families who have lost far too much. Thank you for making our work possible, and for staying informed.
